If we only had 30 secs to get to know you. What would you want us to know?
I want people to know that I’m firm believer in the Lord and strong in my faith. I take what I do to heart and work diligently with any and every task at hand. I’ve faced challenges, but have overcome them and I don’t allow them to keep me stagnant in my purpose and life in general. One of my strengths is self-assurance, so that helps a great deal. My passion is educating and developing young girls into young women leaders who lead and serve in their churches, homes, communities, and schools.
Family is everything to me and I love them so much. By nature I’m balanced between being energetic and serene. Although, if I were to describe myself using one adjective it would be “vivacious” because I’m full of life and do my best to ensure that others feel that same joy. Lastly, I find great peace in uplifting others whether it be through words of encouragement or service.
Education: Texas Christian University (Undergraduate)/ Liberty University (Graduate)
During my pastime I enjoy a variety of things. A few things consist of traveling (Colorado is probably one of my most favorite places to travel) and reading. I can’t get enough of it! I love reading novels by Jane Austin along with books on leadership, education, and faith. Writing is my outlet and passion, randomly selecting recipes from the internet to cook, volunteering my time, and trying to be a cool Aunt to my niece, Ariah, capsules everything. If I’m not doing any of those things, then I’m more than likely spending time catching up on movies, accomplishing DIY projects, and spending time with family and friends.
I’m currently working on two books, one that’s already completed and looking forward to completing the other pretty soon. I’m also in the works of developing an after-school program dedicated to young girls between grades 2-5.
