Favorite Pastime:
My favorite pastime is watching television! I cannot help myself, it’s the most enjoyable thing I can do after a long day’s work. My favorite channels are HGTV, Vh1 and CNN. I am most excited for the return of Power on Starz. Power keeps me guessing, strategizing and excited; it’s like watching a game of chess. You can say I am a super fan, because I love watching it at 12:01a when the new episode is released On Demand.
Upcoming project(s):
Currently I work for INTREN, a utility contractor specializing in gas/electric distribution, storm response, commercial/industrial services. INTREN created my role in early 2017 to increase the culture of the organization, diversity and inclusion. I am honored to be the first African-American Manager at INTREN and hope to bring a new and innovative perspective to the organization. In my new role at INTREN I am developing new training programs that improve employee satisfaction, utility, growth and efficiency. Other than creating trainings that meet the demands of our workforce, I work on developing our employees with current skills and preparing them for future jobs within the company. I am most excited for a project I am working in the Baltimore and Philadelphia market to increase veterans and minorities in our workforce.
